Miller. "In the Mood" fills your ears as you glide across the floor
of the Candlelight Room, where Judy Garland and Al Jolson once
sang.
Your cheeks flushed, you stroll to the hotel
lobby where your feet touch the black-and-white linoleum where
Humphrey Bogart once tread. Back at your
table you sit on chairs and eat from china that are replicas of
their 1940 originals.
Outside it's 1998, but you're not ready to go
back. Not yet. And you won't have to until after brunch the next
morning.
